Edible Mushroom Retreat

pic for flyerJoin Straub Environmental Center at Drift Creek Camp for a two-day edible mushrooming retreat on Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 1st, 2014.

Participants will learn to identify and collect a variety of edible local mushrooms and enjoy time at the beautiful Drift Creek Camp.

 

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31ST
4:00 pm – on check-in
6:00 pm dinner (provided)
7:00 pm – on free time

SATURDAY, NOV. 1ST
8:00 – 9:00 breakfast (provided for Friday night guests)
9:00 – 9:45 check in for retreat
10:00 – 11:00 mushroom ID class with Matt & Kim
11:00 – 11:15 mushroom hunting routes described/assigned
11:15 – 2:00 mushroom collecting (sack lunch provided for everyone)
2:00 – 4:00 identification in the lodge with Matt & Kim
Soup & bread (provided for everyone) in lodge

Cost:
Friday night arrival: $70 for adults/$35 for children/3 & under free
Includes dinner Friday & 3 meals Saturday

Saturday only (please arrive no later than 9:45 am):
$45 for adults/$20 for children
Includes 2 meals Saturday (breakfast on your own)

** Allow a minimum of two hours to get to Drift Creek from Salem
